Bhuvneshwar Kumar is also renowned as the swing master of the Indian cricket team. The right-arm medium swing bowler has a lot of variations in his arsenal that make it almost impossible for the opposition batters to hit big against him. Bhuvneshwar received his first stroke of limelight quite early in his career as he dismissed the batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar.

The news of a 19-year-old sending Sachin on his first duck in the domestic circuit made to the headlines of all the leading news websites. It was only the start for Bhuvneshwar Kumar as he delivered many magical moments with the willow to attract the attention of the selectors. 

All the efforts by the swing bowler paid off as he donned the whites for India for the first time in 2013 against Australia. This was soon followed by Bhuvi making his ODI and T20I debut for India. Since his debut, the 31-year-old has represented India in 21 Test matches, 119 One Day Internationals, and 51 T20 Internationals.

The Meerut-born has 63 Test, 141 ODI, and 50 T20I wickets to his credit. However, the only thing that has acted as a hindrance for Bhuvneshwar in his cricket career has been his injuries. Time and again, the seamer has been forced to take a break to undergo surgeries or recover from an injury.

As far as Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s personal life is concerned, the right-arm pacer is happily married to Nupur Nagar. Nupur and Bhuvneshwar lived in the same colony during their childhood and shared a special bond with each other. However, as they grew up, both started focusing more on their career and lost touch with each other.

A few years later, Nupur sent a friend request to Bhuvneshwar on Facebook and the same opened the doors of communication for the couple. They soon started seeing each other and decided to make things official by tying the knot in November 2017. On the professional front, Nupur is an engineer.
