Investigators are still trying to piece together what happened before flames engulfed the Idaho Youth Ranch warehouse on Irving Street on Monday.

They know the fire started in a cardboard box outside the storage area and then spread to an overhang, causing the building to collapse.

"This is the location where all of those goods are processed, all the clothing is sorted and then it's redistributed out in an efficient way for those stores," said Scott Curtis, Idaho Youth Ranch CEO. "So, having this closed right now is going to significantly impede our ability to process all of the donated goods that come in and then get the things to the stores to keep the shelves stocked."

All the workers got out safely, though three firefighters were hurt.

So here's how you can help!

CBS2 and Newstalk KBOI are spreading the word on how folks can donate. The organization is not able to take physical donations because of storage concerns.
