Sexytary, thats my new name, 6-time world champion open to possibility of returning to WWE
SmackDown General Manager, Nick Aldis has been doing an excellent job as the top official. He has been a fair authority figure who stands up for what’s right and efficiently deals with different personalities. Recently, his wife, WWE legend Mickie James, spoke about the possibility of returning to the Stamford-based company.
While speaking in an interview on Ring the Belle, Mickie James said that she was really proud of her husband. She admitted that Nick Aldis is doing an incredible job as the SmackDown General Manager. Moreover, the 6-time women’s champion hinted at a possible return to WWE by saying it would be cool if the couple were working together.
James pitched the idea of joining Aldis as his secretary, with the new name ‘Sexytary,’ and expressed her plans to win another title. Interestingly, she didn’t deny the possibility of making a comeback to WWE, so there might be a chance she could return. The 45-year-old veteran concluded her statement by once again praising the British official.
Oh, I don't know. I'm so proud of him. He's doing so great. It would be. I could be his assistant maybe. Sexytary, that's my new name. Yeah, cuz I'm the secretary, so I can just write it in, schedule it. There's always an opportunity there. Well, you never know. You never know. No, I'm so proud of him. He's doing great. I think he's killing it.Mickie James on Nick Aldis via Ring The Belle
She is currently working with Ohio Valley Wrestling as the Creative Director, Head of Female Talent, and Executive Producer. The last time she wrestled was in April of this year for the Australian promotion OPW. Nevertheless, only time will tell whether James will return to her former promotion.
Mickie James talks about her experience working with Naomi
When Mickie James was working in TNA, she battled Trinity Fatu, aka Naomi, for the Impact Wrestling Knockouts title. Although she didn’t win at the Bound for Glory PPV, fans still remember the moment when both stars embraced and showed respect. The 45-year-old veteran spoke about his experience working with her.
While speaking in the same interview, James admitted that she loved wrestling Naomi. The 6-time women’s champion called her special and expressed happiness at finally getting the chance to face her in a singles match. She revealed that every time they had met in the ring before, it had been in a multi-women match.
I loved wrestling her. I was so excited for the chance to finally get into the ring with her. She's special... In that match I was disappointed in myself. I didn't feel like I delievered for her. She was amazing and I wanted it to be the best match for both of us.Mickie James on Naomi via Ring The Belle
Unfortunately, James wasn’t entirely satisfied with her performance in that match. The veteran felt she let Naomi down and failed to deliver a better match for both of them. Now that she is considering a comeback to WWE, there’s a good chance these two will face each other in the ring once again.
