Meridian to get two new Cafe Rio Mexican Grill restaurants this spring
MERIDIAN, Idaho (CBS2) — Fans of Cafe Rio Mexican Grill will be excited to hear the news.
Especially if you live in Meridian.
The popular chain will be opening two new restaurants this spring -- one at 3243 E. Village Drive at the Village on March 25 and a second by the Ten Mile Costco at 6097 N. Ten Mile Road on April 20.
“We’re thrilled to be bringing our fresh food, made fresh to more people in the great state of Idaho,” said Steve Vaughan, CEO of Cafe Rio Mexican Grill. “The residents of Meridian are going to be excited to try our award-winning, flavor-packed, made from scratch recipes. Idaho is like our second home, as we currently have locations open in many other towns including Boise, Eagle, Kuna, Twin Falls, Pocatello, Idaho Falls, Rexburg, and Coeur d’Alene.”
The first Cafe Rio opened in 1997 in southern Utah. Both locations will be holding games on their respective opening weekends and will have chances to win free food.
